Opened in 2012, the company has grown to become one of the most in-demand auction companies in the country — with a suite of specialist auctions and our monthly Antiques & Collectables auctions, we’re sure you’ll find something to admire.

The company was founded in 2012 by Samantha and Evan McPherson as East Bristol Auctions, in Hanham on the eastern edge of Bristol. In 2023 the firm opened a second saleroom near Bath and rebranded as Auctioneum. Auctioneum is a member of SOFAA — the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers.
Our departments cover jewellery, paintings & prints, vintage toys, silver, antique furniture, autographs & memorabilia, ceramics & glass, militaria, 20th century design, Asian art, books & works on paper, watches & clocks, musical instruments & records, wines & spirits and private collections. Every lot is photographed and described in detail, and our in-house postage and packing service dispatches lots to bidders all over the world.
Our salerooms
Auctioneum Bristol — 1 Hanham Business Park, Memorial Road, Hanham, Bristol BS15 3JE · 0117 967 1000. Just a stone’s throw from Hanham High Street, with easy on-site parking and a bus stop just across the road (numbers 17 and 44, approx. a 20-minute ride from the centre of town).
Auctioneum Bath — Broadlands Fruit Farm, Box Road, Bathford, Bath BA1 7LR · 01225 251303. Approximately a ten-minute drive from the centre of Bath, with free on-site parking and a five-minute walk from the bus stop on Box Road (the 271 from central Bath).
Both salerooms are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, with ample free parking, ground-floor toilets and disabled access to the ground floors (there is no disabled access to the upper floors — please contact us to discuss any accessibility needs). Tea, coffee and light refreshments are available on auction day.
